At Compassionate Transitions, our focus is:
We all face many difficult transitions in our lives; you don't have to go it alone. Compassionate Transitions is focused on guiding individuals and families through challenging times.
We are here to provide support to families facing life limiting illness or end-of-life through our end-of-life Doula services.
For those needing assistance with Advance Care Planning, we can assist you with completing subjective and thorough Advance Directives that will include a Living Well End-of-Life plan.
Are you an older adult or family member concerned about driving safety? Compassionate Transitions can support a guided collaborative conversation that keeps the driver in control of the driving retirement decision making process.
Let us help you navigate some of life's difficult transitions.
("Doula" is a Greek word that means non-medical person that gives physical, emotional and spiritual support to someone else.)
Providing companionship and a supportive presence to someone who is dying and the dying person's loved ones.
Having been trained in the end of life planning processes, Doula Care Consultants help individuals create a personal plan for the future to include advance directives, living plans, and family mediation.
Providing guided collaborative conversations for families and older drivers in the driving retirement decision making process.
After a career in healthcare, I found my calling in building relationships to help people navigate some of life's most challenging transitions; specifically those facing end-of-life or life-limiting illness and those contemplating driving retirement.
I am a Certified End-of-life Doula, Elder Care Doula and Doula Care Consultant, member of the International Doulagivers Membership Association and National End-of-Life Doula Association. In January 2024, I earned my NEDA Proficiency badge. I am a hospice volunteer doula and recipient of the 2024 Donna West Memorial Award (North Region).
Additionally, I have over 10 years of experience working with older drivers and their families guiding collaborative conversations about driving retirement.
It would be my privilege to support you and your family during these difficult times.
