Over the summer, we became aware that there is such a thing as an end of life doula. We contacted Nancy Macke at Compassionate Transitions to learn more about it. We instantly felt comfortable with her and have been working with her since. It has been one of the best decisions we have made. She's been helping with all aspects of navigating this disease and what comes with it. From practical to personal, and everything in between. She's been part legal researcher, medical interpreter, communications advisor, recording secretary, historian, archivist, therapist, friend and so much more.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge as a doula with us. Your ministry is truly a gift to those facing end of life, as well as to the loved ones who accompany them on this profound journey.
